Applicants must meet PSU admissions requirements as an undergraduate, first-time Portland State freshmen to apply. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 or an SAT score of 1200 (as a combination of critical reading and math scores) or ACT composite score of 27. Must be legal residents in one of the following states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Washington or Wyoming. Students must pursue one of the following majors/programs: Applied Linguistics, Biomedical Informatics, Black Studies, Child and Family Studies, Civil Engineering, Community Development, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Criminology and Criminal Justice, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Studies, Film, Geography, Geology, Health Studies, History, International Studies, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Music, Philosophy, Physics, Social Work, Speech & Hearing Sciences, Theatre Arts, Women's Studies, Russian Flagship Program, University Honors. Students must complete the Early Award Application for consideration. No applications will be accepted after February 1, 2010. |
